Working from home is great. Who doesn't want to wake up at 8.59?
But it can be isolating and lonely, with the NHS saying it's contributing to anxiety, loneliness and mental health issues. Something we know first hand and was part of the catalyst of starting up Bodega Bagels.
We also know it's not always possible to get into the office for 9, or maybe you want to go in for a few hours but feel you're then stuck there all day. Or maybe you're fully remote and want that sense of community.
We have created Work From Here Wednesdays for this reason. Come down and listen to some nice lo-fi beats, grab a bagel or sweet treat and get free refills on hot drinks all day. Come and go as you please, take a quiet corner and sit on Teams calls all day, or grab some colleagues and create your own area and get it done!
