A single stall once a month in Comber Market July 2015, flash forward to our first shop at The Courtyard, Comber before settling into our current Indie Fude HQ home at Castle Street in Comber. From there we were delighted to expand into Belfast with our sister shop, among a wealth of other local independent businesses, on the Ormeau Road which recently celebrated it’s first birthday this past December. From that humble local food stall to Indie Fude as we stand in 2022, among all the changes, there has remained one constant, our passion for celebrating and giving a platform to the wealth of talented, creative and passionate local food and drinks producers we have around the island of Ireland. Which leads us to the next step on the Indie Fude journey.
We have been working quietly behind the scenes these last few months to help bring our next project to life and we’re finally ready to welcome you all down. Partnering with Velocheese and Italian cheesemaker Davide Tani we’re so excited to start making traditional hand stretched cheeses right in the heart of East Belfast. We’ll be selling our hand stretched cheeses, running cheese making classes and holding guided tasting and pairing events.
To kick off this exciting new chapter we’re partnering up with our good friends at Bullhouse Brew Co for a night of local cheese and beer. Five Irish cheeses, five Bullhouse beers, one great night.
We’re so happy to be able to do these tasting events in person again and can’t wait to see you!
