Home is a collaboration between Making the Future and Dr Eli Davies informed by Eli’s PHD on domestic spaces and the Troubles. This programme has been developed to explore local women’s experiences of home, their connection to place and storytelling connected with home.
Participants from the Training for Women’s Network have taken part in a series of workshops engaging with creative writing and oral history recording. Each participant has shared an item of their home and has been placed in this thoughtful exhibition, where the women have told the stories of the objects significance.
The exhibition will be displayed in the wonderful and prominent space ‘What’s the Story’ until Friday 26 November so pop in and experience the stories of Home.
